Insuring your cat with The Insurance Emporium
Our pets are part of the family, and we always want what's best for them. Unfortunately, we can't protect them from everything, and a trip to the vets could be on the cards at some point. Cats can be very expensive, with food, litter, toys, beds, and certain breeds costing upwards of £1,000 to buy - it’s easy to see why pet insurance can seem like an afterthought. While none of us can see into the future and predict if or when our beloved pets might need treatment, having a suitable pet insurance policy in place could give some light relief if you’re faced with an unexpected bill for an injury or illness.
The Insurance Emporium is full of pet owners, so they know what it’s like to want the very best for their furry friends. They also love to catch up with their customers to learn about their experience with their pet insurance policies.
Sam, Bubble and Squeak:
Bubble and squeak are female moggies and Sam’s “fur babies”. Sam hasn’t always had pet insurance but felt it “was an important consideration” because Squeak previously had an accident, which resulted in (as Sam puts it) “half a tail and an expensive leg”. She wasn’t too happy with her previous pet insurance provider, so she decided to insure her moggies with The Insurance Emporium. Sadly, Bubble was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease, a lifelong disease that has needed ongoing treatment. Sam said, “the treatment she’s received has prevented her kidney disease from progressing to stage 3, and we’re grateful for the support that The Insurance Emporium has provided”. Sam continued to say that she “never had any issues with making a claim”. Sam describes her cats as elderly now, and having more complex needs, but she has “always been reimbursed by The Insurance Emporium.”

Celia and Ethel
Ethel was Celia’s first cat of her own. Celia describes Ethel as “extremely loving and loyal” but also “cheeky and playful, and wilful”. Her family previously had a cat which was unlucky with its health and wasn’t insured. Celia’s family vowed they’d take out pet insurance for their next cat, so Celia also considered doing the same. Celia has insured Ethel with The Insurance Emporium for many years and explained she chose The Insurance Emporium “because of the price for the level of cover”. She was also “impressed by the good reviews” on Trustpilot and felt The Insurance Emporium to be a “reputable company to choose.” Celia explains why she would recommend The Insurance Emporium, “[they] genuinely seem to care about helping their customers and their pets. Customer service has been second to none. It was a pleasure to deal with such lovely staff.”
